MARKUS is a highly accurate ground radon measuring instrument. A probe tube (hollow skewer) is driven into the ground and then the air is pumped through the probe tube to a chamber that detects the decay products of the radon, then the measurement result is shown in the display. A water trap is mounted on top of the probe tube to prevent water from being pumped up into the chamber.

MARKUS is a portable and battery-powered instrument that can measure high radon concentrations. The measurement time for measuring ground radon is 12 minutes.
Everything you need
The price includes an aluminum case, battery charger, probe tube with percussion neck and tip, handle for probe tube, key for connection, water monitor and calibration certificate. As an option, you can buy a sliding hammer that eliminates the need to use a sledgehammer to drive the probe tube into the ground to a depth of 70 cm.
