What is Radon Action Month?
The Environmental Protection Agency has named January National Radon Action Month with support from the US Surgeon General. Radon is a radioactive gas that occurs from the naturally occurring breakdown of radium and uranium in our soil. Radon is present everywhere but can be trapped in harmful amounts inside our living and working structures. Because it is tasteless and odorless, the only way to know the amount of radon gas in your home, school, or workplace is to test.
Activism is required because many people don’t know or respond in regard to this dangerous gas. Radon gas is responsible for more than 20,000 lung cancer deaths every single year, in the United States alone.1 Radon is considered the highest cause of lung cancer after smoking according to the medical community.2 Please help us in spreading awareness. To assist in spreading the word, RadonLeaders.org has put together a planning guide full of free resources available here. Take action with your own event! It’s important to realize radon exposure is preventable. Through testing and follow up mitigation (when necessary), harmful levels of radon can be a thing of the past.
In honor of NRAM (National Radon Action Month), Radonova is offering our most popular radon test kits at a discounted price. Our test kits are the most reliable in the world and backed by all major licensing and accreditation organizations such as NRPP and NRSB.

The Radtrak³ is Radonova's long-term radon detector. It is designed for long-term use and will give you the most accurate radon levels on a long-term basis. The devices are similar to the Rapidos detectors in both size and shape, with the Radtrak³ being slightly shorter in height. You will receive the number of devices needed to sufficiently test your home. In most cases, this will range between one and five detectors per shipment.
Our Rapidos short-term radon detectors are top of the line and will provide you with accurate readings. To do so, it is important that you take the time to install and handle them according to the manufacturer's instructions. If you have received an inconclusive or borderline result in the past, the Rapidos radon detectors will help clear up the confusion.
QuickScreen is our charcoal radon screening detector that works well when you only have a few days to get results. It is incredibly easy to use. You only have to leave the screening tool in place for 48 to 96 hours to get an accurate reading. This kit contains 3 detectors, detailed instructions, and envelopes to return the detectors for analysis. Upon receipt, your devices will be read quickly and your results will be emailed to you within days.
"Testing for radon was simple and low-cost. We have two young children, and wanted to make sure our basement was safe for them. The results were delivered promptly, and the follow-up was valuable. I would recommend a radon test for anyone with a basement, and Radonova was a great company to work with."

"Radonova was literally a life saver for us. Our reasonably priced test kit revealed high levels of radon in our basement, which over time, could have led to serious health issues for our family. We are very pleased with the service we received from our rep and highly recommend radon testing, and this company to provide it!"
